Answer this if you can - Why did God Create Us

Hey, just a question.

Why did god create US?

I mean like, one can say that he wanted a group of free-willed people who worship and adore him instead of a bunch like the angels who cannot help but love and adore him.....or can they choose NOT to?
After all, lucifer was the best, the most PERFECT of all angels and yet he apparantly chose not to worship god, instead rebelled and tried to kill him, while also successfully persuading a whole bunch of angels to do it together with him. Doesnt that mean that angels already possess free will? What would he need humans for then? To make something in his own image? A bit vain then isnt he? And besides, considering his omnipotence, couldn't he have seen what would have happened, that Adam would have fallen? Why bother then would easily be another valid question.....

Don't be discouraged,God has chosen us even before the world was created.In this world GOD has chosen us because He loves us.We are living in the grace period where Jesus has done everything for us on the cross of Calvary.We have this graet priviledge and even the Old Testament they don't have this priviledge.

Before creation began,GOD created angels,at that time it is called angelic period.There are about 9 groups of Angels but out of the 9 groups, 5 groups have fallen. Why they fall?

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (Isaiah 14:12-15)

From this text we were able to understand that Lucifer was fallen because of pride. He thinks that he is greater than GOD,for he said that he will be like the most high. Out of all these fallen angel,Satan was the most powerful.Pride is the only the thing that cause an angel to fall. That is why we see Satan is deceiving many people of this world to make them to become his followers. From this we can see in the life of Adam and Eve.GOD created them in His own image that they can enjoy the fellowship with GOD.GOD gave them a commandment but they obeyed Satan and disobeyed GOD.Then sin when into their life and the world was in the darkness.The world was under a curse but Our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST has removed the curse on the cross of Calvary so that man can have peace with GOD and to restore the fellowship with GOD which man had lost.

GOD has given us the power to overcome Satan

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:19) That power is through the Holy Spirit.

Uh...no offence, but I don't really think you answered my questions.

If angels already have freewill to love and worship him, why did god make US for?

Yea, ok, maybe he already chose us first, even if he didnt start yet, but considering that angels had freewill and how THAT turned out later, wouldnt god have SOME suspicion that the same thing would have happened later with adam & eve?

Another thing, if lucifer was PERFECT and all that, wouldnt humility be in him? Loads of it?

Hmm....i know some people would be tempted to go the "we may not understand god's will as he is divine but we should all obey him no matter what" path, but god wouldnt really want unthinking automatons right? I also know that god has given us the power to overcome satan and all that, but the question is, why does he NEED to in the first place? He could have vanquished satan right from the start right? Then why all this fuss? If god HAD done that right from the start, then right now we COULD have been perfect. And if he didnt plan to, then why did he create us, knowing full well, that we would(or could) fall sway under lucifer's control?

Oh yeah, why did u find all that stuff about angels in 9 groups, angelic period, grace period and all that?

PRAISE THE LORD, The reason why GOD created angels to charge over us. GOD created angels to protect us from all the evil powers. That is why before man was created, GOD created angels.But unfortunately out of the 9 groups of angels, 5 groups of angels fell because of pride. These are the groups of fallen angel.

1)Beelzebub -Chief of the devils (Matthew 12:24)
"But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils."

2)Anointed Cherub (Ezekiel 28:14-18)

"Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee."

3 )Lucifer (Isaiah 14:12-13)

4)Murdeing Spirits -This spirit was in the life of Cain.The moment when the spirits enters him. He killed his brother Abel.First of all he was jealous with Abel.That spirit of jealousy grew and became a murdering spirits.

5)Angels who did not kept their first estate (Jude 6)

"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day."
This angel was once were very close with GOD just because they didn't do the will of GOD.They left their own place which GOD had reserved for them

Thank you for your questions indeed is a very good question to ask for some the people so many years in Christ.
I will try to answer but however I am the best source to refer to, I think it is good if you raise these questions to your Pastor.

1) Why did God create us?
The reason is simply, just like your dad and mom birth you. They want you to enjoy their procession, life, time, anything with them. GOD creates us with the reason He wants to bless us, enjoy our great time with HIM in the Garden of Eden. According to the bible in genesis, HE created Adam to rule the land, the bird, the animal, etc for HIM

2) Lucifer the PERFECT angel? Angel has free will?
I think He is not as you said so perfect but one e the Angel head who take charge of worship department in the Heaven. Come to the questions of Angel has a free will or not? I will say yes, they have since they are created. They are like you and me, making choices.

3) What would he need humans for then? To make something in his own image? A bit vain then isnt he?
I am not so clear about your questions. What you trying to ask it is why satan want human then? Or GOD want human?
satan: Just like a bad guy fell into a trap, he wants more people to fall in as well. Satan know very well, he will send to hell very soon, he want more people to join him.
God: I think your question will make God so up sad. The answer is simple, all of HIS great Love to you and me. He loves us (John3.16). Just like your parent love you.

4) Considering his omnipotence, couldn't he have seen what would have happened, that Adam would have fallen? Why bother then would easily be another valid question.....
I think the question is not omnipotence of God but obedience of man.
No doubt, God is omnipotence but He gives man the best gift, free will or making choice. This shows the richerness of God to man. In Genesis, after God created everything, He said everything is good. HE gives man a choice to choose. We cannot use our finite wisdom to understand infinite wisdom of God, it’s not possible.

When reading the question you posted in CF forum, I am sure that you are someone who desire and hunger for Christ before. Don’t mind to introduce yourself? Besides that, I also can felt the grievous, pain, sorrow ness in you..

I am not too sure what actually you have been thru all this while, perhaps passing through wilderness, darkness, walk in the dryness, encounter suffering, pain and sorrow, feeling of down, facing confused, obstacles, difficulty in your life. But Nemo don’t ever give up. You are not alone, at least someone understand you and know your situation. Jesus Love You.

Nemo, if you'd view this topic again. I would like to say something.

I hope it is not rude to say this to a person who'd had the same question in head.

I do ask, Why God created Man. Why He sooo Loved us?

You know, I found that sometimes we just ask "silly" questions. Of course God reveals His Truth to us but it is our stubborn mind and limited knowledge that caused us to ask this type of question.

I just recently get to know that, answers are not given to the question we ask but knowledge of asking questions are given to help us understand Him better.

When you start asking this kind of question, ask yourself, do you really want to know God from this question or do you want to be God by possessing His knowledge?

I'm just like you sometime ago... but God is the Divine answer to all question, so why question? A lot of people like to also ask:"Can God create a stone that He cannot move?"~ Again, does that help us to understand Him better? May be we shall ask:"How God wants us to enjoy the world in His Love?"

God wants us to be just like Him. Imitate Jesus. So why bother to know why he creates us? Why bother to know why He is Love? He is the Great I AM. He wants us to share the joy and all the good things with Him. We were created in His image, so when you look into the mirror, don't you see why he created you?

hi nemo and others who are seeking answer to this question,

many of us seem to have questions regarding this special relationship that we can freely have with our Almighty Creator whom we will never know if we do not take the initiative to know Him.

the answer to your question, "why God created man?";
the answer is simple and direct...
God is never a loner.. and when He created the heaven and the earth, He is not trying to do something out of boreness *i think everybody knows that* God is Someone who wants to be intimate.. so, the answer to your question that is suitable and relevant to so many people is........ *drum roll*.......... because He desires to have an intimate relationship with someone that is close to Him.. who else can be closer to Him rather than those He created exactly in His image? who else can be closer to Him apart from His own children?

When God created Adam and Eve, He wanted to fellowship with these beautiful creation of His.. but as to what the Bible wrote and what we believe and know, Satan came into the picture.. Satan was jealous of the relationship that we are able to have freely with our Creator, so he tempted / tricked Eve to sin WITH Adam. The Bible did not say anything regarding Adam preventing Eve from sinning (stop blaming women for all these sin *grin*) When both ate this fruit of the tree that opened their eyes, they felt guilty for disobeying God. Before satan enter this picture, we can see that God and Adam and Eve were enjoying the most satisfying and fun relationship.. they would talk and chat and share and be with one another. we can all see examples of God's men in the bible such as Noah; why did God let him survive the flood? Because he was righteous and he found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Gen 6:8-- this is where grace was first mentioned in the Bible) Most examples that we should follow in the Bible are men / women of God that have intimate relationship with God..

now, isn't our purpose clear now? to have an intimate relationship with our Creator.. Christianity isn't just a religion/belief.. it is something that you feel deep down in your heart.. it is your relationship with the Lord.. if there isn't any relationship between you and God.. do a spiritual checkup as it will help you discover what went wrong and who's fault it is *usually, it's our fault* apart from being called to have this relationship,
we are;

1. called to worship, (our daily lifestyle; we will not be perfect, but we strive to be like Christ, who IS perfect)

2. called to fellowship, (as brother and sister-in-Christ)

3. called to be missionaries, (to help God save His Lost SHEEP-one or hundred; we do it for God, not ourselves)

4. called to become like Christ (our best role model in the entire universe. we can have people that inspire us, but the only character we want is, Christlike. nothing else)

5. called to serve (washing of disciples feet by Jesus; can YOU wash someone that is lower and unlovable?)
