is Christianity a cult?

i've been wondering about this since my lecturer brought this up: is Christianity a cult?

as i check out the meaning of the word cult, which means, "A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader,"

imagine to the time, more than two thousand years ago, where Jesus and His followers were spreading the Gospel. weren't the people and the pharisees against Him, saying that he's a fake when he claimed to be The Son of God? and it was not of the norm.

think about it.... but if you ask me, i say He's the way, the truth and the light! JESUS ROCKS!

1stlt i do not really underdtand the meaning of the word "cult"...

This is my opinion through what I understand....

My dad is not a very so into the christianity, and he always worried about my sister & I might get to involved into the Christianity and might get lost...... ACOORDING to him lar....

the phrase he always use is quite true....
"the God give us a brain for us to think, hope that you (that means me lar...) would not really get addicted to this Christianity blind by following the Pastor or cell group leader...)

As you can see, we did have a brain - a gift from God.....

Probably is a question for us to really think about....
Is not what the people say, but is the way how we think of....
Never look down on other people saying for they may impact us in both positive & negaitive way....

Just use your BRAIN ( PCK got this song...) & think & reply wisely....
