Special Kid

Hello guys is me again michael, so i continue on with my testimony and my journey with GOD. ok, SPECIAL KID, anybody heard of this before?
have u taken care of a special Kid before? Have spent some time with them before? GOD made everyone with a purpose. And he made special kids for a purpose too. the topic i want to share with u guys is SPECIAL KIDS. I work in a disable home for 4 months before and thru the four months i have learn so many things and meet so many different people. one significant thing that struct me tru the 4months in a disable home called bethany home located in TELUK INTAN is the love of GOD towards these kind of people. The songs that we sing in sunday school really mean it here, JESUS loves the Little CHildren. Children were having all soughts of disability like for example down syndrome, cerebal palsy, robbinson syndrome, cat eye syndrom, epileptic, and other mild ones like slow learner, my turning point of my life and interest towards this kind of children was because of one camp organized by bethany Home where we normal people will be care givers for kids for 60 hours for 3 days and 2 nights, eat with them, sleep with them. bath them and do everything with them. My frist day was terrible because i was assign to take care of a man older than me by 8 years who is diagnosed with epilepcy. He will suddenly fit when he is happy scared or tired. GILA BABI in malay or kena sawan. so first day of my lucnch was terrible because all enviroment was totally different. i did not have the mood to eat. I was feeling nauseee. so came at night where we were brought to a talk in the camp by the directors of Bethany Home. Firstly he thank us for being here and making a special 3 days and 2 night for the kids. and giving time to mothers to have a free 3 days and 2 nights from their children. and said that we get the experience of mothers with special kids. we only take care of the kids for 3days but mothers take care of this kind of kids for the whole years. To make it short after the three days camp, where everyone was leaving, tears fell down and i cried because i was touch and i thank god that i am so blessed today becoming a human being. the love of this kind of children showed me that GODs love is unconditonal. So from that day onwards i went to volunteered myself in the bethany home for 4 months. and thats where i learn sign language. wow...i'm glad you found something special in those special kids. recently, my interest in them also started developing. basically, it is my mum who inspired me to focus on special kids. she's like a second-hand woman after captain paul in malacca's salvation army, where there are special kids too, like down syndrome. and as they have this yearly affair of charity event, during the event, some of those kids would perform for the public to see. and seeing them perform touches my heart.

now that i'm studying psychology, will be studying about abnormalities, i hope to use this knowledge to enhanve their life. am planning to do my final year project on them as well. not too sure as to what yet...but who? my focus will be on them. if i do need info, i can contact you, right? and indeed, be grateful that we can function properly as a human being. =)
